mmw3degrees supports Dry July

31st Jul 2019

With July now behind us, we would like to raise a glass to toast our mmw3degrees team members who have gone alcohol-free in the last month to raise funds for people affected by cancer.

Our Client Services Managers, Caroline Conway and Lisa Easey, along with Account Manager Shaun Bowen, have all participated in Dry July 2019.

Congratulations to the team and all the other Dry July participants out there for making it to the end and helping a fabulous cause.

About Dry July

Dry July is a fundraiser that encourages you to go alcohol-free in July to raise money to pay for vital services for cancer patients, their families and carers. Funds raised could pay for transport to a life-saving appointment, guidance from a specialist nurse, connecting with the right information, accessing therapy programs or a bed close to treatment.

Cancer patients and those around them are not the only ones to benefit. Having a month off alcohol also has great upsides for those who take part, including better sleep and improved overall health and wellbeing, as well as no more hangovers!

Since 2008, Dry July has inspired more than 160,000 Australians to participate, raising $37 million for people affected by cancer, and funding projects at more than 75 cancer organisations across Australia.

mmw3degrees gives back

mmw3degrees has a long and proud history of working with the not-for-profit sector. For nearly 25 years we have helped charities and associations with fundraising and donor acquisition campaigns. Our people also participate in events such as Dry July and the World’s Greatest Shave to further support these important causes.

The mmw3degrees Dry July team is fundraising to help Central Coast Local Health District’s CoastCanCare Wellness Program which provides support, care and assistance to hundreds of adult cancer patients on the Central Coast.

There is still time to make a difference to the lives of those affected by cancer with a donation on the mmw3degrees team’s Dry July fundraising page https://www.dryjuly.com/teams/mmw3degrees-2
