Our story

With our focus on exceptional customer service and great people to deliver it, it’s no surprise that mmw3degrees has stood the test of time and grown to become the success that it is today.

Our owner, founder and Managing Director, Laurie Griffiths, launched mmw3degrees under its original name of Mail Marketing Works back in 1995, in the early days of direct mail in Australia.

His aim was to offer marketers better service than they could get from any other mailing house. One of his early clients told him that he’d better make life easy for her, or she would make life very difficult for him! To this day, we have that same underlying purpose of making life easier for marketers, delivering multi-channel direct marketing strategies for some of Australia’s biggest brands.

Embracing digital

With the rise of digital marketing, Mail Marketing Works decided it was time for a name change to reflect our growing range of multichannel solutions – email, messaging, web and app builds and more. We were still mmw and we were still helping our clients get closer to their customers. We wanted a name that reflected all that, and also how technology now allows us to cut the six degrees of separation between people to just three degrees. And that’s how we became mmw3degrees.

Today, direct mail is still proudly at the core of our multichannel offering. We remain Australia’s leading mailing house. There is a resurgence of interest in print and mail in the industry and we are investing in our technology and people to make sure we stay at the forefront of the new era.

We offer a new level of personalisation with stunning colour images personalised to each customer. Campaigns are smaller, more segmented and more targeted and there is an increasing demand for higher-end finishes to stand out. Mail works together with brands’ digital presence, sustainably driving engagement and results.
